Coming Together As A Community. Together We Will Get Thru This...

Fear worries, “How will I get there?” Faith smiles knowingly,” We will get there.
— Cleo Wade -

Unless you’re living under a rock, everyone no matter what part of the world you live in is feeling some sort of effects from the COVID-19 pandemic. As an event planner the “unknown” can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety just like many business owners, parents, children, health officials, the list goes on are currently feeling. The best thing we can do is take it day by day, find the positive during the difficult times and hope this ends or is better controlled sooner rather than later. We may all feel inconvenienced in some way, but its better to be a part of the solution rather than the problem.

After all is said and done the best way to show our support as a community is going to be getting out there and supporting your local businesses, the local economy you live in. I want to give a big shout out below to some of the local businesses who are finding creative ways to still engage with their customers during this difficult time.

We will all get through this, it may take a little time but we will survive. Maybe this is God’s way (or the powers that be) of telling us that we need to take a step back and slow down a little. Just a thought.

I may be biased but I have to give a shout out to Rev for putting together these at home workouts for their clients to do. I know for me movement and getting a good sweat on helps with my anxiety and stress. Thanks Rev! (photo from Rev’s IG account)…

Other local studios providing at home workout content are Barre Centric and Love in Motion Yoga

Don’t forget there are a number of local restaurants who are offering take out and delivery options during this time as well.

And lastly, there are number of non-profit organizations that need the community to rally behind them. Many, if not all, have closed temporarily during this time. Some depend on admissions revenue and events/program revenue to keep there doors open, let’s try to help support them in different ways during this time.

Now I will get off of my soap box.
